Premier Plant Producers Ltd is a wholesale young plant propagator who provides a complete efficient growing service designed around the needs of customers, specialising in salads, brassicas, strawberries and more recently, tree saplings, in a selection of tray styles and sizes - from pressed peat blocks to loose filled modules. Using the latest techniques in propagation and production to ensure high quality and full traceability throughout, produce is delivered by our own transport fleet to the customer ready to plant.
Strawberry Propagation
Premier Plant Producers Ltd also propagate strawberry plants for commercial glasshouse production. At present, this is split between two varieties – 90% Malling Centenary and 10% Sonata. Under the same management as Premier Plants Producers Ltd but running independently, East End Nurseries Ltd produces fresh strawberries from its 11-acre site on the east coast of England with the assistance of the Mockbeggar Marketing Group. The East End Nurseries Ltd site has been developed over the years into a modern and efficient strawberry production unit supplying most of the major supermarkets.
